US Floors

With the opening of its manufacturing facility in Dalton, GA in the fall of 2008, US Floors became the ONLY supplier of cork and bamboo flooring with manufacturing facilities in the United States. In addition, US Floors will manufacture FSCĀ®-Certified hardwood floors. In order to give our customers the best prices, we still import pre-finished bamboo and hardwood products when necessary. We prefer to utilize our milling and finishing lines in our Dalton, GA facility to produce beautiful stains and unique visuals to give our retailers and consumers the widest available selection of cork, bamboo, and hardwood floors proudly produced in the USA. Our manufacturing facility incorporates state-of-the-art finishing and profiling lines for plank flooring, as well as, molding trims and finishes. By becoming a manufacturer, and not just an importer/distributor, US Floors takes control of the production of its flooring from the sourcing of raw materials to final finished product, ensuring the ingredients, quality, and performance of the floor, as well as the chain of custody of the raw materials.

As a manufacturer, US Floors is able to offer product assortments and options that cannot be economically obtained or offered by importers and distributors. US Floors manufacturing capabilities include:

  • Solid and engineered plank construction of cork, bamboo, domestic and exotic hardwood species
  • Proprietary construction, stains, and veneers
  • Custom constructions and stains
  • Innovative and proprietary core structures
  • A variety of milling profiles, including tongue and groove and floating floor profiles

What is CORtec?

CORtec is a patented, revolutionary technological advancement in Vinyl Flooring. We created a high density, extra strong and dimension-ally stable composite core using virgin polymers, recycled wood and bamboo into a waterproof core (hence the name). A luxury vinyl wear layer is then permanently bonded to this waterproof core, a concept developed and patented by US Floors creating the Original CORtec Floor.
